Motivation and Technique:
My abstract works are based on a unique, self-developed fluid-painting technique. In a process-oriented manner, I use liquid painting media to explore change and transience regarding the interrelations of movement and time. The diffuse boundaries and fluid transitions of control and letting go, flooding and emptiness, constant and volatile components, are evident in my work processes: I manipulate the water, which is the basis of my work, with binders before I pour it over the canvas. It flows sometimes slowly, sometimes it runs unstoppably through my fingers - like time does. After applying the liquids onto the canvas, I withdraw from the process of creation and become an observer: the liquids develop a life of their own, unfolding in graceful movements and effortlessly taking up space. They expand and complement my movements of paint application or wash them away entirely. My presence in the creative process becomes obsolete, my impact transient. Once the water has evaporated, everything emerges into a static image that still captures the dynamic flow of the creation process: its tracks, floods, and erosions can be visually understood through the transparency of the watercolor inks that I use. The painting itself becomes an obituary for the activities of the creative procedures, while the intensity of my work, resulting from the vivid colors and the organic vibrancy of forms, focuses on the present, and the lucid brightness and beauty of my work points with confidence to the future. This interplay of retrospection and looking forward, as well as the moment that lingers in between, fascinate me and are the essence of my work.

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.
Artist Statement
My artistic creation, which I term "abstract experimentalism," involves the process-driven and playful exploration and discovery of materials and states. I experiment with unusual media and explore their properties and textures by manipulating, altering, deconstructing, and ultimately coloring them.
In my painting, a self-developed watercolor technique transforms canvases into stages where abstract landscapes stretch out, life forms emerge, and narratives unfold. The video works, spatial installations, and digital as well as sculptural elements expand the narrative web, detaching it from the canvas to open up additional spaces for experience.
I create structures from a self-developed biodegradable material that at first glance appears plastic-like, "strange matters" from PU foams, kinetic installations, and wall objects made of shards and vinyl.
In a creative process that serves as a lively, multilayered dialogue between observation, material, evolution, revision, and insight, the experience of color and form supports a performative process of discovery that serially addresses various questions and themes, such as the nature of time, development, vulnerability, decay, and the interconnections of reality and perspective.
My drive to create springs from a desire to understand the world — unfettered by restrictions in material choice, technique, or genre.
