Brief Biography | Artistic Journey

I was born in 1961 in Berlin and discovered my love for art at a young age. The joy of creation and the excitement in front of the canvas have continuously accompanied me since then.

Painting became my passion. I acquired paints, brushes, and canvases to constantly create new works. Over time, I developed my own means of expression by translating experiences into forms and colors. These expressions are found not only in my paintings but also in my sculptures. My works are characterized by precise observations of lighting conditions and the portrayal of the current mood, my thoughts, feelings, and soul.

A multi-year stay in Greece, where I was trained and taught by international artists, significantly shaped my senses. During this developmental phase, I created watercolors and representational objects in oil, as well as sculptures, dominated by realism and a clear language of forms.

Back in Berlin, I participated in various workshops and contributed to group exhibitions with other talented artists who greatly influenced me and my art.

In 2009, I moved to Switzerland and in the summer of 2010, I established my own studio. Since then, new works have been created there, and I participate in exhibitions. My art continues to evolve and increasingly gains individuality and form.

Our platform provides carefully curated access to artworks selected by art experts, guaranteeing a selection of the highest quality.

Our Mission and Actions

At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.

By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.

Personal Statement

My art is a reflection of my life. It permeates the past and present and opens windows to the future. In the powerful world of oil painting, I find a means to express my deepest emotions and thoughts. My aim is to establish a profound connection with my viewers through my works by presenting themes such as humanity, nature, and everyday life in ways that provoke thought and inspire.

I aspire to continue my artistic journey, explore new goals, and find innovative forms of expression. A significant aim is to build an international network of art lovers and collectors who appreciate and support my work. Ultimately, I strive to become a distinctive voice in the contemporary art world and leave a lasting impact through my creations.

The beauty of nature deeply inspires me. When I observe the steadfast mountains, the flow of the river, the trees dancing in the wind, and the expansive sky, I draw colors and sounds from them. My representations on canvas vary from realistic to abstract. Emotions flow and appear; my heart speaks, and my mind consciously bears witness to time.

May art — my art and art in general — become an integral part of our daily lives and understanding.
