Born on February 14, 1969, lives and works in Salzburg. Graduated in 1987. From 1987 to 1988, attended a specialized course in advertising graphics under Prof. Herzner in Innsbruck and graduated with a diploma. Studied at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz from 1992 to 1999. Since 2003, has continuously presented work at art fairs, exhibitions, and galleries both domestically and internationally. Noted in auctions.
Artistic work is the source of her inner satisfaction. For Karin Angerer, art represents fulfillment and serves simultaneously as a medium to lose herself uncompromisingly and authentically, and to rediscover herself anew. The artist exhibits exceptional skill in handling color and knows how to cleverly engage the viewer's eye, creating direct communication emanating from her works. Karin Angerer primarily works with acrylic paints and places significant emphasis on coloration, not just in a stylistic sense. Her works aim to communicate, provoke thought, evoke emotions, stir, move, and also delight. Since her paintings and sculptures are shaped by personal experiences, they embody openness, honesty, and desire. Humanity, communication, and social relationships are central themes of her work.

Our Mission and Actions
At THE ART HUB, our mission is initially focused on addressing a profound imbalance within the art world, specifically catering to women artists. In the current landscape, a mere 5% to 15% of artworks traded at auctions are created by women, starkly contrasted by the overwhelming 85% to 95% of works by male artists. This disparity is not only confined to auctions but is also prevalent in exhibitions, where male-created art significantly overshadows that of their female counterparts.
By concentrating our efforts on female artists, THE ART HUB aims to counteract this imbalance and champion women within the art community. This initiative is designed to amplify the visibility of women artists, making their creations more accessible to a wider audience, and ultimately striving for a more balanced representation of genders within art auctions and exhibitions. By prioritizing women in art, our platform boldly advocates for equality and diversity within the art sector, signaling a commitment to reshaping and enriching the cultural landscape.
